A medieval Armenian manuscript held in Cambridge was rebound in the 18th century. The pages are out of order and in some cases upside-down. A specialist in Armenian paleography and codicology wants to create a digital surrogate that corrects these errors.
Work with IT staff to get the manuscript online, using either an existing digitization pipeline or the Docker images and metadata transformation tools
Load the manuscript into the manifest editor
Drag and rotate the images to create a new semantic sequence
Present the two sequences side by side in an online viewer
The result: A digital reconstruction that allows the manuscript to be read and understood without erasing its codicological history
