You’ll want to publish your IIIF images with rich metadata. For most institutions, much of this metadata will already exist in the form of bibliographic records. You could transcribe these into IIIF manifest files by hand… or you could use the Metadata Transformation Tools!
The Metadata Transformation Tools are a set of command line scripts that allow you to transform your existing METS or TEI metadata files into valid IIIF manifest files.
